Documents required for the journalist visa application

1. Press card and a copy of its both sides

2. Original mission order

Certificate in French or English issued by a professional organization, signed by editor-in-chief or general manager, The document must contains the applicant’s passport data, purpose of trip, cities to be visited, period of stay and number of entries.

3. Travel insurance certificate

The medical and repatriation insurance certificate with Russian or worldwide coverage issued by any insurance company. This certificate should contain a name of the insured person and the insurance validity period.

4. Visa application form

We would like to inform you that the Consular Department accepts the only application forms filled via the web-site of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of Russian Federation: http://visa.kdmid.ru

The application form is to be fully completed, printed out and signed.

Important! Write down the password to your application form!

In case of any problem, please print the old application form (see below), fill it in and bring with other documents. We'll help you to fill in the on-line form at our office.

5. One recent passport size photo

Glued to the indicated space on the application form.

6. Current passport

Which should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after visa's expiration date and has at least 2 blank pages which do not need to be consecutive.
